The Coventry Community Safety Partnership has committed itself to fulfil a set of minimum response standards when dealing with incidences of anti-social behaviour and particularly with reference to calls taken via the 2It's Your Call" reporting live. You can download the ASB Minimum Standards here.

How does It's Your Call work?

In Coventry the line operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Reports will be referred to appropriate City Council departments such as City Services, Neighbourhood Management, Neighbourhood Wardens, and Education Welfare as well as external agencies including West Midlands Police, CV One, Whitefriars Housing Group, Youth Offending Services and Sex Workers/Sexual Health.

Reporting Service

Its Your Call is a reporting service to register incidents of Anti Social Behaviour in all its forms where you live or work.

Information from the community is vital if we are to tackle, and not tolerate, unacceptable behaviour that can blight neighbourhoods and have a negative impact on people's everyday lives.

You call is important but please remember it may take time to see how agencies are acting on the information you have given. Gathering intelligence about a particular problem that can be used at a later date (such as court proceedings or undercover operations) is a key ingredient in beating Anti Social Behaviour.

However, if you feel your call requires an immediate response and/or action, you should consider contacting other agencies such as the city council, registered social landlords or the police instead of Its Your Call.

The causes and consequences of Anti Social Behaviour are complex and best tackled by a number of agencies working together and vigilance from the community is a key part of that.

So whether it is litter in the street, graffiti and/or vandalism in the park or nuisance neighbours next door - you do not have to tolerate it.
