Local drug and alcohol services

Treatment for people misusing or affected by drug and alcohol misuse can come in various ways including advice, counselling, substitute medication and rehabilitation.

There is also support available for parents and carers of people misusing drugs and alcohol.

For free and confidential treatment, anyone worried about about their own use of alcohol or drugs can contact:

Community Drugs Team (CDT)

CDT is the street treatment service for adults misusing drugs and is at 8 Ironmonger Row, off The Burges, Coventry city centre.

Swanswell (Alcohol Service for adults)

Swanswell provides support for people with alcohol related problems, including support for people affected by someone else's drinking. The service is based at Swanswell House, Norton Street, Coventry.

Compass (Alcohol service for young people)

Compass provides support for young people affected by drugs or alcohol related problems.  The service is free and confidetial.

Compass are based at 12 Warwick Row, Coventry.

Trust The Process (TTP)

TTP was launched in June 2009 and treats drug and alcohol misusers in a 12 week programme of counselling and training, which aims to give them the best chance of building a new life free from drugs or alcohol.
