Local crime and arson reduction services

 

Much crime is committed by opportunistic offenders - who spot easy opportunities to commit crime - which is easily prevented by taking a few simple steps.

There are a number of services available to local residents and businesses to help secure their property and keep themselves safe.

Police crime reduction officers

Crime reduction officers are based at each police station and are able to give free crime prevention and security advice.

Neighbourhood Watch

Neigbourhood Watch schemes operate across Coventry. To set up or join a scheme contact a partnership support officer based at each police station in Coventry.

Free home security equipment

Safe Partnership offers free security surveys and fitting of security equipment (up to £80) to victims of property related crime, hate crime or domestic violence and to people aged over 70 years.

Gating schemes

Security gating and fixed barriers are one way of reducing crime and anti-social behaviour that is occurring in alleyways and can help towards the security of homes and businesses in a local area.
