Tackling Anti-Social behaviour is a priority for us and we aim to reduce resident’s perception of Anti-Social Behaviour year on year.
Everyone has a right to live without fear of Anti-Social behaviour.
What is Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB):
It is about acting in a manner that causes, or is likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress. It can cover a wide range of things from vandalism, graffiti and fly posting, nuisance neighbours and intimidating groups taking over public places. In other words, it can be any form of behaviour which has a negative impact on your quality of life.
Local authorities, housing associations, local people and police working together have the powers to take action against those that are intent on blighting people's lives. These minimum standards for tackling anti-social behaviour will consolidate on the progress already made in Coventry and ensure that those that have been the victims of Anti-Social Behaviour get the support they need.
